Наш лентяй-шахтер Вилли, известный любителям ZX Spectrum по игре Manic Miner после событий той игры, наконец-то разбогател и купил шикарный особняк, расположенный на вершине утеса с колоннами, яхтой и даже часовней. Особняк поистине огромный — в нем как минимум шестьдесят комнат, в большинстве из которых еще не ступала нога Вилли. Чего не скажешь о посетителях его сумасшедших вечеринок, которые с утра до вечера проходили в его особняке. После того, что устроили гости, будто торнадо пронесся по дому, а Вилли хоть бы что. Как обычно поужинав, он захотел спать. Но не тут-то было, Мария, экономка Вилли, не хочет пускать его в спальню до тех пор, пока тот не уберется в доме. Шутка ли — шестьдесят комнат, каждую из которых придется посетить. Задача не из легких. Но наш герой отправляется в путь (а что ему еще остается?)
Задачей игры является обойти все комнаты особняка, собрав в каждой из них мигающие предметы. Это могут быть мухобойки, разбросанные бутылки, даже водопроводный кран на ванне тоже мигает — а значит, его надо взять. Просто подойти к нему, и он зачтется. Если бы комнаты были пустыми — игра была бы совершенно не интересной. Но не тут-то было. Комнаты буквально «населены» опасными предметами — унитазами с хлопающими крышками, шляющимися тут и там перочинными ножами, катающимися бочками да мало ли еще чем. Касание таких предметов смерти подобно, вот почему Вилли должен очень осторожно перемещаться по комнатам. К тому же входы в некоторые из них не слишком очевидны — можно и заблудиться! В поиске нужной комнаты может помочь карта.
В целом игра очень напоминает Manic Miner, но если в той игре действие происходило на руинах техноцивилизации где-то под землей, то в этой игре действие переместилось прямо к Вилли домой. Приятной игры!
Управление: Q/E/T/U/O — влево, W/R/Y/I/P — вправо, Z/X/C/V/B/N/M — прыжок.

INTRODUCTION
Miner Willy, intrepid explorer and nouveau-riche socialite,
has been reaping the benefits of his fortunate discovery in
surbiton. He has a yacht, a cliff-top mansion, an Italian
housekeeper and a French cook, and hundreds of new found
friends who REALLY know how to enjoy themselves a a party.
His housekeeper Maria, however, takes a very dim view of all
his revellry, and finally after a particularly boisterous
thrash she puts her foot down. When the last of the louts
disappears down the drive in his Aston Martin, all Willy can
think about is crashing out in his four-poster. But Maria
won't let him into his room until ALL the discarded glasses
and bottles have been cleared away.
Can you help Willy out of his dilemma? He hasn't explored
his mansion properly yet(it IS a large place and he HAS been
VERY busy) and there are some very strange things going on
in the further recesses of the house (I wonder what the last
owner WAS doing in his laboratory the night he disappeared).
You should manage O.K. though you will probably find some
loonies have been up on the roof and I would check down the
road and on the beach if I was you. Good luck and don't
worry, all you can lose in this game is sleep.

LOADING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Connect lead to ear socket of Spectrum from ear socket
on recorder.
2. Rewind tape to beginning.
3. Set Volume Control to the required level.
4. Type LOAD "" or LOAD "JET SET".
5. Press key marked enter on your Spectrum.
6. Press play on your cassette recorder.
7. Your program will now load.
If the program does not load first time, repeat instructions
but try a different volume setting.
TO MOVE USE KEYS
Q, E, T, U, or O = MOVE LEFT
W, R, Y, I, or P = MOVE RIGHT
SHIFT TO SPACE = JUMP
Jet Set Willy can also be played using AGF and Protek and
Kempston joystick interfaces, Interface II and Hardware
Projects Sound Stik.
